2023 and 2024 Lina Lev worked for four months each year as festival assistant for Canan Erek and the Theater Heilbronn. In the year 2023 she also was artistic director of VERSUS. At the invitation of the festival “TANZ! Heilbronn 2023”, the renowned dance label moving orchestra from Freiburg, under the direction of choreographer Michael Langeneckert, was developing a site-specific dance performance especially for Heilbronn at the Trau(er)weide on BUGA grounds. “Versus”, the title of the dance and music performance with professional dancers and musicians from Baden-Württemberg, deals with opposites in the interplay between city, people and nature. It is about polarity, but also about the compatibility of contradictions that determine our lives: Life and death, ebb and flow, day and night, and at it's centre, people who feel attracted to urbanity with all it has to offer and yet are constantly driven by a longing for originality, tranquillity and nature.
